It's just over six months since we tied the knot. Some days it seems like yesterday. Others it seems like a lifetime ago. But we're lucky to have some incredible pictures to remember the day by.

Dom and I wanted a wedding day that would reflect our personalities and one that would showcase the city we love so well. For many of our friends and family, this was their first trip to Belfast and we wanted to make it one to remember.

We were married in St Patrick’s Church in the heart of Belfast city – a truly spectacular chapel, which I’ve always loved. Its location also meant that we could take a short walk to the beautiful cobbled streets of the Cathedral Quarter for some photographs.

We chose Crumlin Road Gaol as our reception venue as we loved the idea of using a Belfast landmark and giving our guests a taste of the visitor experience. There were a fair few raised eyebrows and more than a few gags made when we told people about our plans but that was part of the fun. We’ve never been a conventional couple, so our wedding was bound to be a little different to the norm.

More than anything, we wanted a relaxed and fun day and that’s exactly what it was (for the most part, at least). It was a very special, emotional and laughter filled day and it was incredible, albeit slightly surreal, to have all of these people from different parts of our lives together in one room.

We did a lot ourselves but were lucky to have some of the best suppliers that helped us to bring all of our plans together. There are too many people to thank here individually, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves (you'll find the credits at the end, if anything in particular peaks your interest).
